Our services
We repair, alter, and rework vintage and one-of-a-kind garments, creating storied pieces that fit your frame and will last for years to come.
What we offer
Our specialty: denim
Denim repair, modification, and alteration are our most frequently requested services. We love vintage denim; we love it because it lends itself well to repair, its timeless style, and the quality of its construction. We apply this deep love, knowledge and passion to every pair of jeans that we work on. Each project is unique to the individual and the garment and we want to make sure that the choices we make in repairing, modifying and/or altering are truly collaborative. We want you to go home with a garment that speaks to your style AND feels good when you wear it.
Other repairs
While denim is our main focus, we are similarly passionate about repairs and alterations of other garments. We have experience in darning sweaters, repairing leather jackets, mending silk blouses, cropping t-shirts, reworking vintage coveralls, etc. Please don’t hesitate to reach out, no matter the request.
Please be sure to bring your item to us freshly washed. Clean garments take much better to repair than dirty ones. If your garment is not freshly washed and dried then you will be charged a wash fee.

How it works
STEP 1
Fill out the form below. In filling out this form with as much information about your project as possible, you are helping us to deduce whether this particular project is the right fit for us.
STEP 2
We will respond to your inquiry with a follow-up email stating whether or not your project is a good fit for us. If it is a good fit then we will send over a link for you to sign up for a consultation. If your project is not a good fit, not to worry, we usually have a trusted referral we can send you to.
STEP 3
During our in-person consultation we will talk about your needs and wants for the garment; talking through repair technique options, or conducting a fitting to perfectly suit the garment to your silhouette and style. Once we’ve nailed down what the plan of action is, I will review the cost of each service with you. We will also discuss the lead time for the project, lead times vary from 1.5 weeks to 5 weeks depending on the project and the length of our queue. As for payment, we charge 50% of the grand total upon initial consultation.
STEP 4
We will text or email you to let you know that your garment(s) are ready for pick-up. If we do a final fitting and there are a few refinements that need to be made we will discuss and make those adjustments. Any adjustments will be completed by the following week for pick-up. We then collect the remaining 50% upon pick-up or final fitting of your pieces.
