The Silk Farm Blouse

Jacquard printed silk top by The Silk Farm from the '80s. Opaque checkered Jacquard weave pattern with abstracted enlarged floral print. Soft and supple hand feel - similar to a sand-washed silk. Collar with collar stand, hidden front placket with buttons and a cuff and button at the wrist. Gathers at the shoulder and along front and back yoke. Super cool styled with a printed pant for print on print action. Great shape with a slim leg denim as well.

Material & Care

100% Silk

We encourage you to spot clean and spray with a mixture of lavender (or any other antimicrobial essential oil) and water while the garment is inside-out for a refresh.  Always test in an inconspicuous area before spot cleaning delicate fabrics. I like to use Laundress on silk.

If you don't trust yourself to wash silk. I recommend seeking out a trusted green dry-cleaner in your area. If you live in San Francisco, I trust Sonia's Cleaners

Vintage/second-hand items may come with minor flaws due to pre-loved wear. Plant dyed items are all dyed by hand and saturation dye patterns tend to not be uniform (which is a characteristic that we LOVE). Please enjoy and appreciate this item with its unique character. Vintage items are FINAL SALE. We want you to be happy with your one-of-a-kind piece, so please email thefuturepaststudio@gmail.com for any questions regarding fit or condition.
